  • He was an instrumental member of the discovery team of new ore‐grade mineralization at an abandoned project that later became the four‐million‐ounce Jacobina gold mine, which is now owned by Yamana Gold.
  • Prior to working in Latin America, Mr. Buckle worked in the Canadian North where he designed  the  initial  geophysical  survey  for  BHP  Billiton  at  Point  Lake  that  led  to  the discovery  of  the  Ekati  Diamond  Mine  and  subsequent  diamond  discoveries  in  the Northwest Territories.
  • Mr.  Buckle  also  directed  the  first  airborne  survey  that  led  to  the  discovery  of  the Voisey’s Bay nickel discovery.
