Resignation of Chief Financial Officer

VANCOUVER, British Columbia – January 11, 2010 –PETRO HORIZON ENERGY CORP. (TSXV. PHE) announces that effective with the end of business today, Mr Patrick Forseille has tendered his resignation as Chief Finanacial Officer and as a member of the Board of Directors of the Company.

The Board of Directors expresses its grattitude for his past services and loyal dedication to the Corporation and wish him success in his future endeavours.

Additionally, Mr. Paul Sorbara, a longstanding memeber of the Board of Directors has accepted the appointment as Chairman of the Board on an interim basis. He replaces Christopher Wensley in this position.
