ARCHON ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTOR

Archon Minerals Limited (“Archon” or the “Company”) has appointed Robert Blusson as a director

| mining sector. He is currently Director of Finance with Sabina Gold and Silver Corp. Previously, he spent | |
| eight years with Capstone Mining Corp. where he was most recently Vice President of Finance. Robert has | |
| also worked with other mining producers with global operations, including Nevsun Resources Ltd. and | |
| Lundin Mining Corporation. |
