Black Panther Mining Corp. Announces Transfer to NEX and Name Change to Canadian International Pharma Corp.
West Vancouver, British Columbia, June 19, 2015 - Black Panther Mining Corp. (the "Company"), is pleased to announce that its application to voluntarily delist its shares from trading on the TSX Venture Exchange (the “Exchange”) and transition to the NEX Board of the Exchange (“NEX”), as reported June 9, 2015, has been approved. Accordingly, the Company’s shares commenced trading on NEX effective as of market open today, June 19, 2015, under the symbol “BPC.H”. NEX is a separate board of the Exchange.
In connection with the Company’s transfer to NEX, the Company is changing its name to “Canadian International Pharma Corp.”, as approved by the board of directors in accordance with the articles of the Company, and by the Exchange. Effective as of market open on June 22, 2015, the Company’s shares will begin trading on NEX under the name “Canadian International Pharma Corp.” and the new symbol “CIP.H”. There will be no change to the Company’s capital structure.
As recently announced (see News Release dated June 9, 2015), the Company voluntarily transferred to the NEX board of the Exchange where it will continue to grow and develop its new business concept. In this regard, the Company is currently working on its new business plan, but the Company anticipates developing into a multi-faceted generic drug manufacturing and distribution company with the following key business lines:
1. Manufacturing generic drugs in Canada for the Canadian market
2. Distributing Canadian manufactured neutraceuticals internationally
3. Applying Canadian Good Manufacturing Practices to generic drug manufacturing internationally.
The Company will be applying to Health Canada to get licensed under Canadian Good Manufacturing Practices (“GMP”). Once the Company has this GMP licensing it will be able to commence manufacturing generic pharmaceuticals. In order to complete this application the Company must first establish a local manufacturing facility and acquire the necessary manufacturing equipment. Once the facility has been established and the equipment has been purchased, the Company can complete its application with Health Canada and it is expected that the process of preinspection and inspection will take approximately 9 months.
