RESULTS OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Vancouver, Canada - Tinka Resources Limited (the “Company”) (TSXV - TK; Frankfurt - TLD; Pinksheets -TKRFF). Mr. Andrew Carter, President & CEO, announces that at the Company’s Annual General Meeting of shareholders held on Friday, March 25, 2011, Messrs. Andrew Carter, David Henstridge, Nick DeMare and William Lee were re-elected as directors. In addition, all items put forth at the meeting were approved by the shareholders, including an ordinary resolution to ratify the stock option plan.

At a directors’ meeting held subsequent to the shareholders’ meeting, the directors appointed Andrew Carter as the President and Chief Executive Officer, Nick DeMare as Chief Financial Officer and Mariana Bermudez as Corporate Secretary.
