Sunvest Minerals Corp. Appoints John Masters to its Board of Directors

Vancouver, British Columbia – July 14, 2016 – Sunvest Minerals Corp. (TSX Venture:SSS) ("Sunvest Minerals" or the “Corporation”) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. John Masters to the board of directors of Sunvest Minerals.

John Masters comes to Sunvest with over a decade of public company experience in the junior resource sector. Mr. Masters is currently CFO, Director and Corporate Secretary of Alix Resources Corp., Director and Corporate Secretary of Sienna Resources Inc., Director of CKR Carbon Corp. and Corporate Secretary of Ashburton Ventures Inc. Past positions include CFO & Corporate Secretary of CKR Carbon Corp., Director of Green Swan Capital and CFO and Corporate Secretary of Geo Minerals Ltd.

The Corporation also announces that it has granted, subject to TSX Venture Exchange acceptance, incentive stock options to its directors, officers and consultants to purchase 600,000 common shares at a price of $0.12 for a period of two years.
