CORTINA LEASE TERMINATION UPHELD

Earthworks Industries Inc. (the “Company”) reports that U.S. District Court for the Eastern District

of California has denied the Complaint filed by t he Company’s wholly owned U.S. subsidiary,

Cortina Integrated Waste Management Inc. , (CIWM), challenging the Order of the U.S.

Department of the Interior’s , Board of Indian Appeals (IBIA) , to cancel the federally approved

lease between CIWM and the Kletsel Dehe Wintun Nation of the Cortina Rancheria, California.

On October 23, 2025, the Court ordered that the plaintiff’s motion (CIWM) for summary

judgement be Denied.

It was further ordered that the defendant’s summary judgement motion and defendant -

intervenor’s summary judgement motion be Granted.

The judgement was entered in accordance with the Court’s Order and filed on October 23, 2025.
