GOLDEN PEAK MINERALS INC. (the “Company”) (TSX-V: “GP”) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Randy Minhas, CPA, CA, BBA as Chief Financial Officer, Corporate Secretary and Director of the Company.

Mr. Minhas is a Chartered Accountant with a Bachelor of Business Administration from Simon Fraser University. He specializes in financial reporting and compliance for public and private companies focusing on the mining, technology and production industries and has extensive knowledge of IFRS, Private Enterprise GAAP, US GAAP, Sarbanes- Oxley ("SOX") testing and documentation as well as extensive experience working with various securities commissions in Canada and the United States. In addition to being the President of Triumvirate Consulting Corp. and Chief Financial Officer of Bullion Gold Resources Corp., Mr. Minhas is the SOX and financial reporting specialist for Golden Queen Mining Co. Prior to joining Triumvirate, Mr. Minhas was a Manager at Smythe Ratcliffe LLP, focusing on public and private company audits, as well as staff training and development.

The Company also announces that Mr. William Galine has tendered his resignation as a Director of the Company, effective immediately, in order to devote time to his other commitments. The Board of Directors thanks Mr. Galine for his service to the Company and wishes him success in his future endeavours.
