Sierra Iron Ore Closes Private Placement

March 6, 2014 Symbol:-TSXV.NAA Symbol:-OTC- SIOCF SIERRA IRON ORE CLOSES PRIVATE PLACEMENT

VANCOUVER, BC – SIERRA IRON ORE CORPORATION (the "Company") wishes to announce that it has closed the previously announced non-brokered private placement. The Company has issued 257,500 units (“Units”) for net proceeds of $103,000. Each Unit consists of one common share, issued at $0.40 per share, and one-half common share purchase warrant. Each full share purchase warrant may be exercised by the holder to purchase an additional common share at a price of $0.55 for 24-months from closing.

The net proceeds from this private placement will used for general working capital. No finders fees were paid in connection to this private placement.

All securities issued have a hold period expiring July 4, 2014.
